FAQ
FAQS:
• can I order something that is sold out?
typically, yes! some items truly are one of a kind with single sourced materials, but most products are available to order! please use my ‘contact’ feature to let me know what you would like re-made. processing time for made-to-order items can take anywhere from 1-3 weeks to make depending on what it is.
• can i request a custom made piece?
yes! I love making custom orders! however, I will not copy exact pieces made by others as this goes against my integrity and is stealing. I add my own flare to any custom orders! I typically offer this service through my Instagram @tipsyfishjewelry. you can also communicate with me via the contact page for custom requests.
• where do you ship from?
san diego, ca! I offer flat rate shipping of $7 anywhere in the US and $6 flat rate shipping for california, oregon, and washington. you can find my products locally in ‘atlas’ at UTC mall starting november 1st 2026, as well as local pop ups in san diego. follow our instagram @tipsyfishjewelry to see local pop up locations and dates.
• what materials do you use?
I use a wide variety of materials. gold filled, stainless steel, brass or sterling silver (.925). chain, pendant and hardware content should be disclosed in every item description, if it isn’t, typically it is gold filled. if you have any questions about any item in particular, please reach out via the contact page.
• will my items tarnish?
gold filled jewelry can last a very long time if taken care of properly! it will last longer if wiped down, avoided with oil, lotion and sweat. wipe down with polishing clothes if color ever doesn’t look clean.
• are all sales final?
all sales are final. many items are made to order. cancellations and exchanges are not accepted either.
• how long does it take to receive my item?
all orders are shipped USPS first class with an expected 3-5 business day delivery. once your item has shipped, we are no longer responsible for it. lost, damaged, or stolen packages will not be refundable. however, if you’re missing a package, please reach out so i can assist you in filing a lost package claim.
